Iopla

Iopla is ion plasma, a physical colony resource used in research, industry and fleet development. It is held locally with Aslit, Crlit and SEM, rather than in your empire's G.E.L.D. balance.

Produce and use

Build an Iopla Mine to establish local production; the basic building has no research prerequisite. The later Thermal Borehole produces Iopla together with Aslit and Crlit.

Production depends on building level, production settings and energy supply. Mining Efficiency and applicable government, Biolab and alliance effects can improve output. An Iopla-assigned planet can add its matching planet bonus, Planet Resource Lab bonus and installed relic bonus to ordinary positive production; Thermal Borehole follows a separate path.

Iopla appears in advanced building, research, ship-component and defense costs, including the SEM Factory. Keep enough at the colony where you plan to build or upgrade. A fleet carrying it elsewhere removes that stock from local use until it is delivered.

Use Planets to understand resource assignments and production penalties, and the actual cost preview to plan how much Iopla a project needs.

Storage and movement

The stock belongs to the colony holding it. Resource Storage provides shared capacity that you allocate among Aslit, Crlit, Iopla and SEM in Planet Production. A full allocation stops further positive production of that resource; delivered resources can exceed the production limit. Resource Bunker can protect part of the stock from raid loot.

Transport and Station missions can carry resources to another colony; Collect brings stock from another colony you own. Capacity and fuel limit the journey, and resources in flight are not spendable at their destination until delivered. See Fleet Operations.

Other sources

You can acquire this resource through successful raids, debris extraction, Void Boss Combat and successful Excursions. Rewards depend on the mission and are not guaranteed by launching. Debris and ordinary raid loot must fit cargo; boss payouts currently bypass that limit.

Trade Hub lets players list offers and contact traders. Listing does not automatically reserve or exchange the advertised stock: arrange delivery through the available fleet controls. There is no automatic purchase or resource-conversion workflow in the current market.
