The Void Arc
The Void Arc continues the story of VoidVerse inside the game. The lore page tells how humanity fled the Solar System, scattered after the exodus and built its first ships. What comes after that is not written on any website: it reaches you in the game, as short transmissions, at the moments your own journey earns them.
The arc follows one idea: every galaxy has a shadow, and the Void lives there. What the factions do in this galaxy is heard on the other side.
What is available now
- Transmissions: short messages from three voices that arrive at milestones of your journey. Each one appears once, then stays in your archive.
- Void Resonance: how loudly the Void hears you. It decides which Void bosses answer your fleets, and the Echo comments on every change.
- Irregularity: a distortion of every galaxy solar system that battles between players and fights against the Void raise and peace lets fade. The hottest system's milestones bring world transmissions, and a system at 100% opens its own Rift into the Void realm. Only on servers with the Void realm, currently Era (www) and Vex.
- Void Incursions: once the hottest system reaches 25% Irregularity, the Void breaks into players' home systems, the most disturbed first, and raids them unless it is broken within 48 hours. Only on servers with the Void realm, currently Era (www) and Vex.
- Void Realm: the mirror of the galaxy beyond the Rifts, where every system can have a Void twin, a permanent endgame held by Void holds. Only on servers with the Void realm, currently Era (www) and Vex.
- The story archive: under Reports → Transmissions you can read the Beginning and Parts 1 to 3 at any time. Parts 4 to 12 unlock for you one by one, each with the first transmission of its chapter; the last four lead beyond the Rifts to the Void holds.
What comes later
The arc grows in chapters. Later chapters add new mechanics to the galaxy, and this section of the wiki gains a page for each of them once it is live. Until then, the transmissions are the best place to watch for signs of what is coming.
