Command

Command is your empire's dashboard: ratings, technology bonuses, lifetime statistics and the engines of your probes and planetbusters.

Player rating shows your Economy, Construction, Research, Bioresearch, Defense, Fleet and Total points, plus Void points, a separate score that is not part of the total (see Rankings).

Technology bonuses sum up your research:

Statistics. Combat statistics count damage dealt and taken, ships destroyed and lost, rockets fired, lost and destroyed, and resources collected. Loot cards total your combat loot, asteroid loot, excursion loot and excursion finds (Void Experience, Artifacts, Xenogen), dated with your last point calculation. Void boss rewards shows lifetime damage, damage taken and loot from Void Boss Combat.

Engine control. Choose an engine type from T0 to T5 for each category, then press Save. Engine Engineering unlocks one type every 4 levels (T5 at level 20). Each type adds +30% speed on top of the Engine Engineering bonus, but costs grow with it:

  • Spy probe engine: faster spy probes; the price stays 10 G.E.L.D. (see Intelligence).
  • Survey probe engine: faster survey probes, and the survey price rises 30% per type (25 G.E.L.D. at T0, 63 at T5).
  • Planetbuster engine: faster planetbusters from the Rocket Silo, with launch costs and fuel 30% higher per type.

Tip: keep the survey engine low while you scan many planets cheaply, and raise the planetbuster engine only when a faster strike is worth the extra fuel.
