In VoidVerse, resource production is governed by a dynamic growth formula that rewards specialized investment. As a mine increases in level, its output grows exponentially, further enhanced by periodic efficiency breakthroughs.
The Production Formula
The core of VoidVerse resource generation relies on exponential scaling. The base growth is determined by the Multiplier. A standard multiplier of 1.25 ensures that the baseline potential of a mine increases significantly with every upgrade.
The calculation follows these primary steps:
- Exponential Base: The level determines the raw power factor (resMulti^{Level}).
- Growth Addition: This factor is applied to the Base Return of the resource.
- Efficiency Tier Bonus: A specialized multiplier is applied based on the mine's current decade.
- Global Modifiers: The final value is scaled by Mine Speed and any active Global Resource Bonuses.
Efficiency Tiers
To incentivize high-level infrastructure, VoidVerse utilizes a Tiered Bonus system. Every 10 levels, a mine unlocks a new Efficiency Tier. This bonus is applied directly to the added value of the mine before global modifiers are calculated.

Strategic Implications
The Milestone Effect
Because the Efficiency Tier bonus increases at levels 10, 20, 30, and so on, these levels represent significant power spikes. Upgrading a mine from level 9 to 10 provides a greater production increase than upgrading from level 8 to 9 due to the activation of Tier 1.
Tall vs. Wide Development
The compounding nature of the Efficiency Tier bonus means that a single high-level mine in VoidVerse will eventually out-produce multiple low-level mines of the same total level cost. Players are encouraged to focus on reaching milestone levels to maximize their Return on Investment (ROI).
Synergies
The Tier Bonus is calculated before Mine Speed and Global Bonuses are applied. This means that any external buffs to your production become mathematically more effective as your mine reaches higher Efficiency Tiers.
