Trade Hub

The Trade Hub is the player market of your world for the four tradeable resources: Aslit, Crlit, Iopla and SEM. Offers are swaps of one resource for another at a fixed ratio; the Trade Union hauls both sides.

Finding offers. The main page lists every open offer in your world except your own, newest first. To narrow it, pick a resource and an amount: only offers of that resource with at least that much left are shown. Each row shows what the offer gives, what it wants, the ratio and when it expires. A World supply estimate (all resources held on owned planets, refreshed about every 10 minutes) comes with a ratio calculator.

Listing an offer. Choose the resource you give and its amount, the resource you want and its amount, and a duration. The listing fee in G.E.L.D. is 1 for 6 hours, 3 for 12, 8 for 24 and 18 for 48. Your ratio must stay within 1.5 times of the fair world ratio in either direction (fair = world stock of the wanted resource divided by world stock of the offered one); Auto fills in the fair amount. While no estimate exists, any ratio is allowed. Listing does not reserve resources: you need them on a planet only when a deal goes through. You can cancel your own offers at any time.

Making a deal. On an offer's page anyone can talk in the public Discussion thread. A taker claims part of the offer (at least 1,000, or the whole rest if less) and pays at the offer's ratio, rounded up. One open claim per taker per offer. The owner gets a System message in the Inbox; a ! next to Trade Hub in the menu shows that a deal waits for your confirmation. Both sides then pick the planet they ship from and the planet they receive on, and confirm within 5 minutes, or the claim lapses and returns to the offer. Either side can call the deal off.

Trade Union fees. When both have confirmed, both cargos are taken at once. Each side pays 10% of its shipment to the Union (rounded up) plus 1 G.E.L.D. per started 10,000 resources shipped. If a side lacks the stock or G.E.L.D., only its confirmation is withdrawn. Union fleets reach the pickup planet in about 15 minutes at default travel settings, then fly to the target; they cannot be attacked or recalled. Delivery arrives as a Fleet message. If you prefer, chat with the owner and ship it yourselves.

G.E.L.D. transfer. The transfer page sends G.E.L.D. to another player's in-game transfer address: 1 to 1,000,000,000 per transfer, plus a 1% fee (rounded up) that you must confirm.

Bots trade here too: they take offers that fit their needs at a fair rate, confirm their side themselves and sometimes post their own offers at the fair rate.
