Rankings
Rankings
The rankings compare every empire in your world. Open them with the ranking icon in the top navigation of the game. Each category has a player ranking and an alliance ranking, both 25 entries per page, and your own row is highlighted.
Categories
| Category | What earns points |
|---|---|
| Total | The sum of Economy, Construction, Research, Bioresearch, Fleet and Defense. |
| Economy | Your resource buildings (mines) on all your planets. |
| Construction | Your infrastructure buildings on all your planets. |
| Research | Your research levels. |
| Bioresearch | Your Biolab research. |
| Fleet | Every ship you own. |
| Defense | Every defense unit on your planets. |
| Void | Your fights against the Void. Not part of the total. |
How points are earned
- Buildings and research: every completed level counts its catalog cost in Aslit, Crlit, Iopla and SEM. All levels together give 1 point per 1,000 resources.
- Fleet and defense: each ship or defense unit counts its resource cost: 1 point per 1,000 resources per unit. Lost or scrapped units no longer count.
- Bioresearch: every spent Void Experience counts 1 point, every spent Xenogen and Artifact 5 points.
- Void: every fight against the Void (Void bosses, Void holds, The Hollow Crown and incursions) is worth its damage divided by 1,000. The fight that destroys a boss adds a bonus of one tenth of the boss's maximum hull, divided by 1,000.
Because Void points stay outside the total, a strong Void fighter can lead the Void ranking without a large empire, and the total ranking is not decided by Void fights.
Players and bots
The ranking starts with Players only. Switch to With bots to include bot empires in the same list; the game remembers your choice. Ranks and movement are kept separately for both views.
In the list:
- Bot names are shown in their own color.
- Players on vacation are shown in yellow with an umbrella icon.
- Human players who have not logged in for 14 days are greyed out and marked inactive.
- The globe icon opens the player's home system in Galaxy; the chat icon writes to the player.
Alliance ranking
The alliance ranking adds up the members' points in the chosen category. It also shows the member count and the average points per member. In the Players view only human members count, so an alliance without human members does not appear. See Alliance.
Rank movement
Points in the list are always current. Ranks are recorded once per day; the arrow beside a rank shows whether the entry has moved up or down compared with the previous daily record. An equals sign means no change, or no earlier record yet.
